Innovative Technologies that Dr. Rafael Camberos works with

Heus

ULTRASOUND ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION.

OSU Technology (Ultrasonic Surface Optimizer)

HEUS is an ultrasonic fat emulsifier that allows safer and more efficient liposuction.

Benefits:

  • It only emulsifies the fat before being vacuumed.
  • Prevents damage to blood vessels and skin.
  • Reduces bleeding.
  • Greater efficiency of both primary and secondary liposculpture.
  • An excellent option for patients who have previously had liposuction.
  • Emulsifies fatty tissue but allows the survival of fat cells to allow a successful transfer of fat to the buttocks.

Microaire

MicroAire ó PAL ( Power Assisted Liposuction)

It is a technology designed to optimize the mobilization of fat deposits during liposculpture.

What does it consist of?

In performing liposuction using vibrating cannulas that facilitate the extraction of fat.

Benefits:

  • Less damage to tissues and blood vessels.
  • Less bleeding and bruising.
  • Less postoperative pain.
  • Faster recovery for the patient.

Bodytite

InMode’s patented RFAL (Radio Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) technology.

BodyTite offers three-dimensional contraction of the dermis, subdermal connective tissue matrix, and deep fat.

Provides superior body contouring results than those obtained with conventional liposuction.

It has FDA approval.

Benefits:

  • Promotes skin retraction of the abdominal area, flanks, back, and other areas of the body.
  • Improves the surgical results of body liposuction.

Facetite

BodyTite console incorporates a small device known as FaceTite, which employs similar technology but is adapted for specific areas of the face and neck.

FaceTite is a non-aspiration cannula that allows doctors to safely work in the subdermal plane to contour the lower face, neck, and small areas of the body.

Who are the candidates for BodyTite/FaceTite?

• Patients who do not have enough sagging for an abdominoplasty or neck lift, and who do not have enough skin retraction capacity to be candidates for liposuction.

• Patients who have had previous plastic surgeries, but present sagging recurrence.

• Patients who do not have sagging skin, are suitable candidates for liposculpture and desire the greatest skin retraction possible.

Is it possible to combine all these technologies?

It is possible to combine the three technologies because they serve different steps of liposculpture.

THE STEPS OF A LIPOSCULPTURE ARE AS FOLLOWS:

First step: Infiltration of a sterile liquid solution under the skin in the areas where liposuction will be performed.. This liquid solution contains medications that cause blood vessels to reduce their caliber for a few hours, reducing the amount of bleeding during liposuction.

Second step: Application of HEUS technology, causing emulsification of the fat only, without damaging other structures. During this step, fat is not aspirated; it is only fragmented.

Third step: Liposuction with MicroAire technology (power-assisted liposuction). Through a special cannula with a vibrating effect, the fat is aspirated with less trauma than conventional liposuction. The fat is collected in a sterile jar to later have the possibility of being used to transfer it to the buttocks and hips when the patient wishes.

Fourth step: Using BodyTite technology. Once the liposuction has been completed, a cannula is inserted under the skin of the desired area to achieve greater retraction, and the BodyTite cannula is applied, which releases radiofrequency energy into connective and adipose tissue.

Fifth step: Lipotransfer. Use fat from the same patient to improve the shape and/or volume of the buttocks and hips.
